Statement

Based in Glasgow, Joanne’s work is inspired by a unique use of colour and line, frequently taking inspiration from abstract art. Joanne also has a firm understanding of garment construction and enjoys pushing the boundaries to approach garment sketches from a unique viewpoint. This can be seen within her Graduate Collection, where she creates the illusion of ‘cut through’ layered garments.

Joanne is confident in working in CAD and Photoshop and often uses this as a tool to help aid her when designing her collections.
