Props For An Imagined Life
Props For An Imagined Life explores what happens when the life you expected to have is sent off-track by disability.
Working with photographers Louise Kerr and Kyle Hamilton, Jeni Reid developed images allowing them to star in their own lost dreams. Reid called on the skills of drag queen and stylist, Leo Fahringer, who helped create fabulous hyper-real characters which represent who they might have been had they not become chronically ill twenty-odd years ago. Each image is accompanied by an aspirational statement.
